Our commitment to alfalfa extends throughout the life of the crop by delivering products that help improve stand establishment and crop productivity. Enhancing emergence and stand establishment, CruiserMaxx® Alfalfa seed treatment insecticide/fungicide combines the fungicides Maxim® 4FS and Apron XL® with Cruiser® 5FS insecticide to help protect seeds and seedlings from numerous soilborne diseases, including Pythium and Phytophthora, and insects like aphids and leafhoppers. As the season progresses and in subsequent years of the crop's life, growers can fend off pests and preserve crop quality and yield with Warrior II with Zeon Technology® insecticide and Quadris® fungicide. Based on the decision of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on January 27, 2011, Genuity® Roundup Ready® Alfalfa seed is available for sale and distribution by authorized Seed Companies or their dealers for use in the United States only. This seed may not be planted outside of the United States, or for the production of seed, or sprouts.

CruiserMaxx Alfalfa is an on-seed application of Cruiser 5FS insecticide and Apron XL and Maxim 4FS fungicides. Thiamethoxam, the active ingredient in Cruiser 5FS, is highly toxic to bees, and effects are possible as a result of exposure to translocated residues in blooming crops. To mitigate this potential exposure, the first cutting of alfalfa should occur before bloom.
