Scholar controls a broad spectrum of postharvest diseases in stone fruit, pome fruit, kiwi, pomegranates, and yams. Scholar is classified by EPA as a Reduced Risk fungicide due to it's excellent safety profile. Diseases controlled include:
Stonefruit - brown rot (Monilinia spp), gray mold (Botrytis cinerea), Rhizopus rot (Rhizopus stolonifera), and Gilbertella rot (Gilbertella cingulata).
Pome fruit - gray mold (Botrytis cinerea), blue mold (Penicillium expansum), Bull's eye rot (Pezicula malacorticis), Rhizopus rot (Rhizopus stolonifer)
